General conditions of sale and internal regulations

Presentation

The hotelier has the freedom not to receive customers whose dress is indecent and negligent, customers with noisy or incorrect behavior, customers whose behavior is contrary to morality and public order.

Payment

Room rates are per day. Failure to pay will result in the immediate expulsion of the customer subject to legal proceedings for the settlement of his due. In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction will be attributed to the Judge of the Civil Court of Neufchâteau. The balance of the stay can be paid on arrival or departure. We accept the following bank cards: Visa, Eurocard-Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Maestro and Vpay. Bank checks are not accepted. We require everyone staying at our property to present an ID card at check-in. If you cannot provide us with this document, we will be forced to refuse your room rental request.

Harshness

Grivèlerie, or trickery, is an offense characterized by the fact of consuming a good or a paid service knowing that you are unable to pay or in
being deliberately determined not to pay, while pretending to be willing to pay. Harshness is punished by up to 3 months' imprisonment and a fine of €3,500 in addition to damages.

The rooms

The rooms are rented for the number of people indicated on the leaflet received at check-in. In the event of a breach of these regulations, the hotel reserves the right to invoice the responsible customer for the cost of the room(s) corresponding to the number of people found to be in excess, with or without the customer's presence, at the room rates in effect on the time of violation of the rules of procedure. The hotel will debit the credit card of the unscrupulous customer.

Degradations

In the event of damage to interior and exterior furniture, deterioration or theft of linen, the hotel reserves the right to invoice the customer for the cost of repair or replacement for an amount equal to the amounts incurred.

We ask our customers to respect the premises as well as the decoration of the rooms. Children are the full responsibility of their parents. In case of degradation, the customer will have to engage his civil responsibility.

Interruption of stay

In case of interruption of stay, no refund will be made. Likewise in the event of early departure, the stay is due in full. Delays
on arrival or early departures cannot under any circumstances give rise to reimbursement.

Terms of cancelation

For a free cancellation, please contact us 48 hours before arrival, after this time, the amount of the first night will be due. For a reservation the same day, the cancellation or modification must be made before 4:00 p.m., after this time, the amount of the first night will be due.

No show at scheduled times

Failure to show up at the scheduled times does not in any way give rise to a refund.

Access to rooms

The rooms made available to our customers are checked, functional and in good condition. Any occupation of the room entails "ipso facto" recognition by the customer of the inventory of furniture according to the register kept by the hotelier. Our customers are invited to report any breach immediately to the hotel reception. The rooms are available from 3 p.m. and must be vacated before 12 p.m. In case of departure beyond, an additional night will be charged. To keep the room for an additional night, payment must be made before 12:00 p.m., subject to availability. In addition, the room is designed for a specific number of people. To ensure the safety rules of the hotel no additional person should be accommodated. The management draws the attention of its customers to ensure that the door to the room remains firmly closed.

Prohibitions

According to the law of July 1, 2011, smoking is prohibited in all enclosed public places. It is also absolutely forbidden to smoke or vape in the rooms for obvious reasons of safety and comfort (non-compliance will result in compensation of 80€/night for rehabilitation of the room). It is forbidden to use gas or electric appliances other than those provided (examples: stove, coffee maker, etc.) in the rooms. All sports materials or equipment (bicycles, etc.) are strictly prohibited inside the establishment (common areas and bedrooms), a closed room is available to you free of charge.

Animals

Pets are not accepted within the hotel grounds.

Items found

Any forgotten and found object can be sent by post on request and at the customer's expense.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on weekdays and from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on weekends and public holidays in the room provided for this purpose. Breakfast is served as an open buffet, however it is not a supermarket. It is forbidden to bring food to  consume later. If necessary, a “lunch box” can be prepared by the hotel kitchen at a price of €15 per box (designed as a midday snack for one person).

Reception

The reception declines all responsibility for luggage or objects left in public places. Please note that the reception closes at 10:30 p.m.  For any late arrival, please contact us by phone so that we can give you the terms of access to the hotel.

Nuisances

To respect the rest of other customers, be careful not to slam the doors or make too much noise, especially between 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. All Neighborhood noise linked to the behavior of a person may lead the hotelier to invite the customer to leave the establishment without the need for acoustic measurements. This, especially when the noise generated is likely to affect the tranquility of the customers (art. 544 of the Civil Code). A hotel room is a place of rest. All trade is strictly prohibited.
